Global
Global is a live map of what is happening in the world. Events are geo-plotted on a 3D globe and colour-coded by category, with a rolling feed of source posts beside it.
It is an Intelligence feature of the Orbital app.
Categories
Every event is classified, and each category can be toggled on or off:
- Conflict
- Terrorism
- Protests
- Economic
- Political
- Crypto
- Disasters
Turning categories off is the fastest way to cut the globe down to what you care about.
Regions and conflict zones
The buttons across the top are view presets: Middle East, Europe, East Asia, Americas, Africa and South Asia. Selecting one flies the globe to that part of the world rather than filtering the data. Each carries a live event count so you can see where activity is concentrated before you go there.
Along the bottom sit the tracked conflict zones, each with its own running event count. These are defined areas the globe watches continuously, so you can jump straight to a theatre you follow.
Categories also carry alert thresholds. When activity in a category spikes past its threshold, it is surfaced rather than left for you to spot on the map.
Live feed
The right-hand column streams the underlying posts as they arrive, attributed to the account that published them. The globe gives you the shape of the day; the feed gives you the specifics behind any cluster.
Global is about macro context rather than tokens. It is most useful alongside Feeds and Predict, where crypto-specific signals live.
