Every attempt counts. Need more? Contact us through Discord. Responses carry X-RateLimit-* and X-Daily-* headers.
Errors
Errors share one format, and none of them are charged. If a multi-handle report partly fails, you pay only for the reports you get:
{ "error": { "code": "not_found", "message": "Account or post not found.", "request_id": "req_…" } }
| Status | Code | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| 400 | bad_request | A parameter is missing or invalid. |
| 401 | unauthorized | Missing, unknown or revoked key. |
| 402 | insufficient_credits | Balance below the call's cost. Top up to continue. |
| 403 | protected | The account is protected, so its followers can't be read. |
| 404 | not_found | Account or post does not exist. |
| 422 | too_large | Account above the endpoint's follower limit. |
| 429 | rate_limited | Too many requests. Respect Retry-After. |
| 429 | daily_limit | 24-hour account limit reached for this kind of call. |
| 503 | busy | Temporarily unavailable. Retry later. |
Include the request_id when you contact support.
Terms of use
The summary below is part of the full API terms.
- No resale or redistribution of raw API output as a data feed or competing API.
- No use of API output to train or evaluate models, classifiers or datasets.
- No bulk mirroring: query the accounts and posts you need, not lists of everything.
- One account per person or company. Sharing keys is not allowed.
- You are responsible for using API output in line with applicable laws and X's terms.
Usage is monitored. Breaking these terms ends access: keys are revoked and remaining credits are not refunded.
