X Profile Changes
A dedicated channel that watches the profiles of a curated set of X accounts and posts the moment one of them edits something. A project quietly swapping its website for a Telegram link, a founder changing their display name, a pinned tweet moving. These are the edits that happen before an announcement, and they are invisible if you only read timelines.

What it catches
Seven fields, each posted as its own alert with the before and after:

Handles that stop resolving (renamed, suspended or deleted) are recorded but deliberately not posted. They were 94% of all events during testing and drowned everything else.
Which accounts are watched
Not every account you follow. The universe is curated, and an account earns a slot three ways:
- a subscriber explicitly tracks it, or
- it is classified as a project and has 10,000+ followers, or
- it is co-followed by 4 or more of the monitored accounts and has 10,000+ followers
Co-follow is the strongest of the three. If four independent accounts you already watch all follow the same profile, that is four separate judgements pointing at it, and it catches people the category classifier misses.
Accounts that have not posted in 30 days are demoted and re-tested every 24 hours, so a dormant profile does not consume a slot but is picked straight back up when it returns.
Delivery bar
Detection is broad; delivery is narrow. An alert is only sent when the account has 10,000+ followers or a project category. Everything else is recorded and stays out of the channel.
Notes
- Re-crops do not fire. When someone re-uploads or re-crops the same picture, X issues a brand-new image id even though the picture has not changed. Avatar and banner alerts compare the actual pixels, so a re-crop is recognised and suppressed while a genuine new image still fires.
- Websites are shown as their real destination, not the
t.cowrapper, so you can read where a link actually points without clicking it. - A full sweep of the curated set completes in roughly an hour, so a change is typically reported within that window.
