Truth Social Feed

The truth-social channel carries every post from Donald Trump’s Truth Social account, delivered as it publishes.

Posts and reTruths are separated on sight. An original post is Orbital purple and headed “New post”; a reTruth is slate, headed “reTruth”, and keeps the handle it came from so you can see who was amplified. Each card links to the original post on Truth Social, and images and video are attached to the message so the media plays in the channel rather than sitting behind a link.

It is a straight relay of the account. No filtering, no commentary, no summarisation.

Timing

Truth Social does not expose a usable public API from a datacentre, so the feed reads a public archive of the account rather than the platform directly. That archive is a third party, which means posts can arrive slightly behind the original. Every delivery records the observed delay, so the real latency is measured rather than assumed.

Because of that, treat this as a fast notification feed rather than a latency-sensitive trading signal.

Media

Most posts carry their image or video inline. Two cases behave differently and the card says which:

  • A clip the archive stored incompletely is linked back to the original post instead of being attached, because a partial video will not play.
  • A post with no text at all is labelled as media only rather than posted as an empty card.
